LPR’s next issue to focus on spirituality.
February 3, 2010In the triumvirate of mind-body-spirit, we understand spirit less clearly than the other two members; though it is not tangible, we feel spirit’s presence—and lament its absence. Something other than the body’s substance or the mind’s reason and memory, the spirit is the mystery, the void, the holy, the joy, the universal and the inexpressible soul, the profound experience of truth. Little Patuxent Review is devoting the June 2010 issue to the theme of Spirituality. We invite experienced and first-time writers of poetry, essays and short stories to submit works that embrace this theme.
