About
Little Patuxent Review, a rebirth of a periodical published a quarter of a century ago, is a bi-annual literary and arts review serving Howard County, Maryland, featuring writers and artists from the region and beyond.
The Review is an outgrowth of discussions involving the writers who spoke at a public reading in the Fall of 2006 – Mike Clark, Anne Bracken, Ann Barney and Brendan Donegan. Its goal is to offer local writers, artists and photographers a venue to publish their creative works.
The renewal of publication serves as a living memorial to the late Ralph and Margot Treitel, Columbia poets who founded the original run of the publication in the late 1970s.
The Little Patuxent Review is a non-profit 501c3 organization. It often partners with other local arts organizations, like HoCoPoLitSo, The CA Columbia Arts Center, The Artists Gallery, and the Columbia Festival of the Arts, for example, to further enhance the health and well being of the community through the arts and literature.
