Little Patuxent Review maintains an active presence in the Baltimore-Washington area. Events include the Salon Series and launch readings as well as special events and more.
Little Patuxent Review (LPR) will host its annual reading at The Writer’s Center on Saturday, March 17th from 2:00 – 4:00 PM. We will feature artists from our Winter 2018 issue, including poets of the Black Ladies Brunch Collective (BLBC) and other readers of fiction and nonfiction. View the work of our featured artist, Paul Rucker. Join us for this exciting event and the opportunity to meet the authors, as well as editors and other staff of LPR. Refreshments will follow to start your St. Patrick’s Day celebrations early.
For the past several years, Little Patuxent Review has partnered with the Columbia Art Center to present a free Salon Series featuring a broad range of local artists, writers, musicians, crafts-folk and other specialists.
Salon Series events are held monthly at 7:00 PM on Mondays from September through May at the Columbia Art Center, located at 6100 Foreland Garth in the village of Long Reach in Columbia, Maryland.
Speakers discuss aspects of their work and their process as artists developing material. Often they hold workshops or demonstrations, engaging the audience to participate and gain greater insight into the experience.
Little Patuxent Review takes part in a number of regional events each year, such as City Lit, a reading at The Writer’s Center, Baltimore Book Festival and more. Bookmark our calendar for the latest information.
