Salon Series

PSYCHEDELIC FOLK

Monday, November 6, 7pm.
with Miles Gannett and Sean P. Finn of Fractal Cat
Enjoy an evening with singer-songwriter/guitarist Gannett as he performs original songs and covers accompanied by multi-instrumentalist Finn.  Expect whimsical melodies and chord changes, cosmic/comic lyrics, and sounds ranging from Bealtesque baroque pop to folk country a la John Prine.

For the past several years, Little Patuxent Review has partnered with the Columbia Art Center to present a free Salon Series featuring a broad range of local artists, writers, musicians, crafts-folk and other specialists.

Salon Series Information

Salon Series events are held monthly at 7:00 PM on Mondays from September through May at the Columbia Art Center, located at 6100 Foreland Garth in the village of Long Reach in Columbia, Maryland.

Speakers discuss aspects of their work and their process as artists developing material. Often they hold workshops or demonstrations, engaging the audience to participate and gain greater insight into the experience.

Launch Readings

Winter 2018 Issue: Launch on January 21, 2018

We celebrate the publication of each biannual print issue with a reading that is free and open to the public. Audience members can meet the contributors, purchase copies of LPR, and enjoy light refreshments. Dates are posted on the calendar above as they are finalized.
