Like everyone, we’ve been carefully watching developments with the novel coronavirus and thinking about how they’ll affect plans for the launch of our Summer 2020 issue. The safety of our contributors, staff, and community is our highest priority, so we’ve decided to postpone our in-person launch reading for now. Instead, we’ll be venturing into new territory with a virtual launch!
- How will the virtual launch work? Right now, the plan is to have contributors from the issue record themselves reading their work. We’ll release the videos on our social media accounts, blog, and newsletter in an extended virtual launch. To catch all the readings, make sure that you’re subscribed to our newsletter and follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
- Will there be an in-person reading at some point? Hopefully! We’ll work with Oliver’s Carriage House to find a date once it’s safe to do so.
- What about the journal itself? The Summer 2020 issue will be printed on June 26. Subscribers will receive their copies in the mail, and there will be copies for sale on our website. We’re also looking at making a digital copy available for purchase online. Need to renew your subscription? Don’t wait!
We’ll provide more details as they’re available. We can’t wait to share the amazing new issue with you!
